Making Sales Online | Online Sales Strategy Plan

What are the processes involved with making sales online? Payment processing, business structure, must be incorporated into your online sales strategy plan.

Hi Trish Davies, here from TrishDaviesInternational.com. Today I want to focus on making sales online. My latest members mastermind was incredibly powerful in respect to making sales online. To make those sales online, you have to have a platform that’s going to be able to accept and process transactions.

During my previous mastermind there was a request for information on both PayPal & Stripe. They are two of the most powerful and efficient payment processing systems.

PayPal & Stripe Are Perfect For Online Business

Both systems are perfect for you as an online business owner to start accepting online payments. What I would say is to do your research to see which one fits your requirements.

I myself use both, I’m set up for both within my business structure. My training program that is automated can actually accept payment from PayPal and also accept payment through Stripe. What I found though was PayPal was a lot easier to set up.

Stripe a little more complicated to set up. I think it was more around the fact that I am an Australian citizen based here in Australia. However, my structures of my corporations are based in the US.

The advantage to that for me is that I am accepting payment or accepting money in US dollars. What happens there is that I’m less susceptible to the fluctuations in the currency exchange. What I do love is a lot of my expenses and the money I receive is in US dollars. Therefore, I’m not challenged by those fluctuations and I’m also not challenged by those currency foreign currency conversion fees. Those fees that the bank hit you with as a result of doing international transactions can be high.

How I Set Up My International Business

So, it is really brilliant if you can go about that process when setting up your business structures. Whether it be an LLC, a C corporation and S corporation is available only to those in America, not available to us as foreign aliens.

That was my very first step in the process of setting up a truly international business. Having structures and corporation set up along with being protected as I have a multi corporate strategy going on. I had to seek advice through my American CPA, my Australian CPA and also my American attorney. That was to ensure that I was set up appropriately and correctly for the type of operations that I was running.

So here are some important things to consider to ensure that you are set up to do business. You must make sure that you have your corporations in place with all the right set up as well. Things like articles of incorporation, the minutes to setting up, the minutes to meetings that set that company corporation up.

Making sure that you have a resident agent as well that can say if there’s ever any papers that are served. Then you have an address within that state so that those papers can be served.

You Must Show You Are Legitimate

With those three things, it really does show that you are legitimately setting up business. That you are operating and managing a corporation which is important when it comes to litigation. If you do not have those things in place, they can quite easily pierce the corporate veil and show that you are not operating or managing a corporate entity.

Therefore, the assets within that corporation can actually be more they’re at risk to be sold and to go towards any litigation. So, there are a number couple of big topics.to setting yourself up and running a corporation.

A corporation to do business internationally, setting up bank accounts within that country. Making sure that you have the ability to accept payments or accept money through certain online platforms that are available such as PayPal and Stripe.

All of this was analysed within my mastermind group this morning. What I love about our private members group, is that there are questions that get asked. I don’t have the answers to all of those questions, rightly so, because running an online business is incredibly complex with so many different areas.

However, we have the expertise and the people willing to do the research. Go away, do that, come back and then deliver some answers, some comparisons, data research within the group. That’s the power of a mastermind and the power of a group.
