There are two reasons why transactions are made. The first is that a product or service provides a solution to a problem and second is the buying experience. This is very important to remember when you are promoting your products and services.
There is a real person with the finger on the buy now button so speak to them in a way they will relate to. That way is through your story and here are the reasons why.
When you are telling your story, you are introducing yourself and your business to that person. It is like the introduction to a book where you start to learn about the characters and the plotline develops. You then start to relate to those characters.
This happens when a potential customer first connects with you as they have no idea of who you are. So, in principle you have to pre-sell them about you so they can relate to your message. Maybe part of your story hits home because they have had the same or similar experience. When this happens, they start to know, like and trust you because they see you are an authentic person.
Then you can develop the story line by showing how you can help them through your products and services. This develops that itch you get which makes you read till the end to discover the outcome. The itch you give them is the value of what you have to offer, and the outcome is how they can get the solution. This would be your call to action as by the time they get to this point they are desperate and have credit card in hand.
My Own Story
My own story is that in 1999 I received tragic news that changed my life. My husband was killed in a road traffic accident and I became a single mother overnight to a 4-year-old daughter.
Instincts kicked in and I knew I had to build a financial wall of protection around my daughter and myself. I invested in my education and through that, opportunities started to emerge that I grasped.
The result has been that I have built up a substantial property portfolio in the USA and I get to show other people how to do the same. Also, I have established myself as a Business Consultant, Online Marketer, Blogger and Lifestyle Entrepreneur.

All of this has led me to create my own storytelling for business workshop called Build Your AU. It is a lot more than a workshop because I host live weekly mastermind sessions to help people just like you, develop their own stories.
I have found over the years that masterminding with likeminded people is the most powerful thing you can do. The reason I say this is because you can learn from other people’s stories which can relate to your own.
This helps to build your confidence in a safe environment, but you will also develop your own message to deliver to your audience
Think of it this way. A mastermind like my Build Your AU program is a virtual story book. Each person is a chapter and that chapter is a lifelong story which continues to evolve over time.
